Explore Tamborine Mountain, the crown jewel of the Gold Coast Hinterland, and immerse yourself in its lush landscapes and charming mountaintop community. Your day begins with a walk through Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Park, where kangaroos and koalas are often seen in their natural habitat.
As you journey inland, your expert guide will share insights into the region’s rich history, culture and natural environment. The Yugambeh language people are the Traditional Custodians of the land you will be visiting, and our guides, who have been endorsed by local Aboriginal representatives, share authentic knowledge of the region’s First Nations heritage.
Arriving on Tamborine Mountain, enjoy morning tea at a scenic mountaintop café before setting off on a guided rainforest walk to the picturesque Curtis Falls. You’ll also have time to explore Gallery Walk, known for its boutique shops, local produce and vibrant arts scene.
Throughout the day, there is the option to enjoy tastings at local wineries or breweries (additional cost), showcasing the region’s boutique wines and craft beers. Take in panoramic views across the Gold Coast skyline before relaxing on the return journey, with your guide continuing to share stories and local insights along the way.
