Afterwards, spend free time in Surfers Paradise to explore, shop, relax on the beach or take part in optional experiences. In the afternoon, travel inland through the scenic Numinbah Valley to Springbrook National Park, part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed region. Here, enjoy a guided walk to Natural Bridge and experience the beauty of this unique rainforest environment. This extensive hinterland and coastal tour operates in most weather conditions. Coastal rain or showers in one region may not affect inland sections like wildlife reserves, rainforest or lookout stops. Light rain typically does not impact the experience and rainforest environments rely on rain for their lush beauty.
However, for your safety, the tour may be altered, rescheduled or cancelled should conditions such as severe weather, road closures or national park access restrictions occur. If a section of the itinerary cannot proceed, we’ll work to ensure alternatives, and in rare cases where the whole tour is affected you’ll be offered a reschedule or a refund under our normal terms. Guests should wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear.
Plans can change, so we aim to keep things simple and flexible:
Full refund available for cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to departure
Cancellations within 48 hours incur a 100% cancellation fee
Reschedules are permitted up to 24 hours prior (subject to availability)
No changes are permitted within 24 hours of departure
Late arrivals and no-shows are treated as cancellations.
This is a family-friendly experience designed to be enjoyed together:
Infants (0–1 years) are welcome (subject to availability) and must be advised at time of booking
Infant fare is typically 50% of the child rate and does not include refreshments
Children (2–16 years) are welcome on tour
All children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
Car seats and booster seats are available on request (limited availability)
Please note: due to the nature of the rainforest walk, prams and strollers are not suitable
Your safety and comfort are central to the experience:
Guided by experienced, fully trained local guides with all required permits
Modern vehicles are maintained to high safety standards and equipped with first aid kits
Guided walks at Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Park and Natural Bridge are conducted along marked tracks and designated viewing areas
Guests must remain with the guide at all times during walks and national park visits
Wildlife encounters occur in natural environments and sightings cannot be guaranteed
National park conditions may vary due to weather and natural terrain
For comfort and safety, guests are encouraged to wear enclosed walking shoes, bring sun protection and carry a light jacket, particularly during cooler months in the hinterland.
Southern Cross Tours may alter or cancel any section of any of the itinerary which may result from road closures, weather, suppliers or any other condition of an operational nature. Alternate vehicles may be used in the event that a Southern Cross vehicle is unavailable.

Dimitri Tavares Henriques Rossi Ladeira1 days agoMat was an amazing tour guide! The waterfalls were beautiful, and he even stopped along the way to show us wildlife. He was incredibly attentive and went the extra mile to contact another guest to get a photo they had taken of a bird we spotted during the tour. Highly recommend!+0Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Posted on Google![]()

Courtney B4 days agoO’Ryan was an exceptional tour guide. He brings great energy and enthusiasm to discuss the beauty and significance of the destinations my sister and myself went to - which was the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise, Springbrook National Park and Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Park. He was also very friendly and made sure all guests onboard the tour made the most of the tour. Overall, an engaging and memorable tour guide and my sister and I really enjoyed it all. :)+2Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Posted on Google![]()
Lee Martin5 days agoLots of fun - we had a wonderful time. There was plenty to find out about the local history and indigenous culture, as well as flora and fauna. You could get up nice and close, which was a bonus. The walk was beautiful and the views spectacular. Steve, our guide was great value and kept the information (and jokes) coming. Highly recommend it.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Posted on Google![]()

Stephen Grant6 days agoGlen was an excellent host. He kept conversations with the tour group rolling with details of the area and with anecdotes from his own very interesting life. He was both extremely considerate of non-English speakers and sensitive toward young children in the group. The glow worms experience was fantastic and the staff at The Manor (supper stop-off on the way) delivered a wonderful reception. Thanks for everything!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Posted on Google![]()
米拉苏7 days agoThis Gold Coast day tour organised by Southern Cross was absolutely unforgettable. The itinerary was well-designed, and the whole service was highly professional. It was a wonderful immersive journey that I will cherish. Special shout-out to our amazing Orion, who worked as our driver, tour guide and DJ all in one! He is incredibly handsome, knowledgeable, witty, patient and friendly. He always wore a bright smile just like the sunshine over the Gold Coast. His introduction to local nature and culture was deep and insightful. What’s more, he has fantastic music taste — every song he picked made us fully immersed in the vibe. Highly recommend this tour!+8
